Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This policy explains what CreatorVerdict(creatorverdict.com) does with data when you use the site. The short version: we run a mostly static review site, we don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't sell your data.

The short version

  • No third-party analytics, ad networks, or tracking pixels.
  • No cookie banner, because we don't set tracking cookies for visitors.
  • We log outbound affiliate clicks anonymously, with no IP address or identity.
  • We never sell or rent personal information.

What we collect

Browsing the site. You can read the site without giving us any personal information or accepting any tracking cookies. To deliver and protect the site, our hosting and security providers process standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We use these only for operating and securing the site, not to build a profile of you.

Affiliate link clicks. When you click an outbound link to a vendor, it passes through our redirector so we can count it. We record only the tool you clicked, the page you clicked from, the position of the link on that page, and a timestamp. We do not record your IP address, name, or any other identifier, so these records are not linked to you.

Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, that preference is stored in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Emailing us. If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message, and we keep it so we can reply and follow up.

Cookies

We do not set cookies. A light or dark theme preference is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to our server. The details are in our cookie policy.

Why we use this data (legal bases)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests to operate, secure, and improve the site, including counting anonymous affiliate redirect events to see which recommendations help, and on complying with legal obligations. Where we ever ask for consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We do rely on a small set of service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • a hosting and infrastructure provider that runs our web server;
  • where required, professional advisers or authorities, if the law obliges us to disclose information.

How long we keep it

Affiliate redirect events and standard server logs rotate on our hosting provider's schedule. Emails you send are kept while they're relevant to supporting you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format.

EEA and UK (GDPR). You can exercise the rights above and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To make any request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

International transfers

Our infrastructure is operated in the United States, so if you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed in the US. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Children

This site is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
